Teacher

Every teacher should continue to study and learn for him/herself on a permanent basis. A teacher should never think along thelines that there remains nothing to learn, all there is to teach. This would be a big mistake. Doing Aikido means following a very hard path which requires the utmost self-discipline yet enriches and deepens the ‘self’ at the same time.

The most vital message is to always keep up the training and continue following the path with its ‘highs and lows’. This is the essence teachers can passon to their students – advancing on the path due to his/her own experience, yet being ready to discover new aspects together with the student at all times.
